Cybozu, Inc. Reports First Half FY2025 Results; Revenue Increases 27% to JPY 17.9 Billion

  • Cloud sales now represent 92.1% of total sales; Kintone sales surpass JPY 10 billion for the half-year
  • Operating Profit Rises 129.7% to JPY 5.16 Billion; Company Raises Full-Year Forecast

TOKYO – December 2, 2025 – Cybozu, Inc. (Tokyo Stock Exchange: 4776) has announced its financial results for the first half of the fiscal year 2025 (H1 2025), ending June 30, 2025.

Consolidated sales for the period reached JPY 17,899 million, a 27% increase year-on-year. Operating profit saw significant growth, increasing 129.7% year-on-year to JPY 5,163 million.

"Our strong first-half performance reflects the continued demand for our groupware and the successful implementation of our pricing strategy," said Yoshihisa Aono, President of Cybozu, Inc. "While the price rise contributed to a higher-than-usual growth rate, our underlying business remains solid. We are also actively investing in R&D for global expansion and long-term growth."

H1 2025 Financial and Business Highlights

The company's cloud-first strategy continues to be the primary revenue source, with cloud consolidated sales reaching JPY 16,489 million (¥16.49B). The consolidated cloud sales rate now stands at 92.1% of total sales.

This performance was led by the flagship Kintone platform, which achieved a major milestone by surpassing the JPY 10 billion mark in half-year sales. Kintone sales grew 36.4% year-on-year to JPY 10,281 million (¥10.28B) , driven by an expanding customer base that has now exceeded 38,000 companies in Japan.

Underscoring this healthy growth, the platform's key SaaS metrics remained strong. ARPA (Average Revenue Per Subdomain) improved to JPY 44,600 , while the churn rate held at a low 0.92%.

Revised Full-Year Forecast (FY2025)

Based on the strong first-half performance and current business momentum, Cybozu, Inc. has revised its full-year consolidated forecast for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025:

  • Net Sales (Revised): JPY 37,202 million (up 25.4% YoY)
  • Operating Profit (Revised): JPY 9,051 million (up 85.0% YoY)

The company also announced its dividend forecast for the fiscal year has been revised upward to JPY 40.00 per share (up from JPY 30.00).
